UF in Tanzania: Culture and Healthcare

June-August 2024 - In this study abroad program, my classmates, professors, and I explored life in Tanzania and compared and contrasted culture and healthcare with what we've experienced in the US. We got firsthand experience in the healthcare setting by shadowing at Tosamaganga Regional Hospital in the rural town of Iringa and at Ocean Road Cancer Institute in the massive city of Dar es Salam.

Water Polo

I have been a member of UF's Women's Water Polo Club since 2022. I am now serving as the Vice President.

Climbing Kilimanjaro

Summer 2024, some friends and I hiked Mount Kilimanjaro. We hiked 42 miles and gained 17,000 feet in elevation over the 7 day trek.

Scuba Diving

I love to scuba dive and am Rescue Certified. Here I am on a dive with Gator Scuba Club!
